About the Founder
My name is Igor Burić – seafarer, sailor, licensed merchant marine deck officer, and professional nautical educator.
- MSc in Maritime Studies & BSc in Nautical Studies,
- Former Chief Officer on merchant vessels,
- Senior executive experience in the financial sector,
- Founder and strategic manager of Boat Skipper Course Croatia.
I sailed across most of the world’s seas before returning to what I value most: education and the sea. My mission is to share knowledge and prepare confident, responsible skippers who respect safety and the environment.
